Keto Garlic Parmesan Knots

For the Knots:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the cheeses are fully melted and well combined. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the eggs to the dry mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Pour the melted cheese mixture into the dough and knead it together until it forms a smooth, cohesive dough.
  6. Make 12 equal portions of the dough.
  7. Roll each portion into a long rope and tie it into a knot. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake the knots in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
  9. While the knots are baking, prepare the garlic butter topping. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is aromatic. Combine the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley in a mixing bowl.
  10. When the knots are done baking, remove them from the oven and brush the garlic butter topping over each knot while they are still hot.
