Ayam goreng tepung crispy is a popular Indonesian dish that has gained worldwide recognition for its crispy exterior and juicy interior. The dish is made by marinating chicken in a mixture of spices and then coating it in a layer of flour before deep-frying it to perfection. In this recipe, we will explore how to make ayam goreng tepung crispy and provide tips on how to achieve the perfect crunch.

Introduction to Ayam Goreng Tepung Crispy

Ayam goreng tepung crispy is a mouth-watering dish that is perfect for special occasions or as a snack for a gathering. The key to making this dish is to ensure that the chicken is marinated for a sufficient amount of time to allow the flavors to penetrate deep into the meat. Additionally, the flour coating should be crispy and golden brown, which can be achieved by using the right type of flour and frying the chicken at the right temperature.

• 1 kg chicken pieces (legs, thighs, wings, and breasts)
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Cooking Instructions

To make ayam goreng tepung crispy, follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces, garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to ensure that the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade.
2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate deep into the meat.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and panko breadcrumbs. Mix well to ensure that the ingredients are evenly distributed.
4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and coat each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
6. Carefully place the coated chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove the chicken from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
8. Repeat the frying process for the remaining chicken pieces.
9. Once all the chicken is fried, serve it hot and enjoy!
