This recipe has been passed down and has become a staple in many Indonesian households, and now, we will share it with you.

Overview of Brownies Kukus Ny Liem

This dessert is a variation of the traditional brownies, with the addition of pandan flavor and a unique steaming process. The result is a moist and fluffy cake with a rich, velvety chocolate flavor. The addition of pandan leaves gives it a distinct aroma and flavor that complements the chocolate perfectly. This dessert is perfect for those who want to try something new and exciting, and is sure to be a hit at any gathering or party.

• 250 grams of all-purpose flour
• 150 grams of granulated sugar
• 100 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
• 100 grams of unsalted butter, melted
• 4 large eggs
• 1/2 cup of pandan extract
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Step-by-Step Instructions

To make this dessert, you will need to follow a series of steps. First, you will need to prepare the ingredients and the steamer. Then, you will need to mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients separately, before combining them. Finally, you will need to steam the mixture and let it cool before serving.

1. Prepare the steamer by filling it with water and bringing it to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and place a steamer basket over the pot.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, pandan extract, and vanilla extract.
4. Combine the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake pan, and place it in the steamer basket.
6. Steam the mixture for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Remove the cake from the steamer and let it cool on a wire rack.
8. Once the cake is cool, slice it into pieces and serve. You can dust it with powdered sugar or serve it with a scoop of ice cream.
